Making art is great, showing it is hard
The constant quest to make his art known to the world.
It’s been a week since I’ve painted or drawn anything, and after this first exhibition, I need to take a step back. I must still be in the euphoria of that first time, I’m still on my little cloud.
In the meantime, there have been 3 sales and a reservation for a painting, so I’m concentrating on getting my art out there, testing new video formats again and again, and I’ve decided to show more of myself. It’s true that personally I like to see the artist’s face, it’s part of the story of the works.
I’ve also tried pinterest since launching the blog, and I’m starting to get traffic and engagement on my pins. On the blog, this is the 40th blog post, I’m also starting to get a google ranking, my marketing strategy is starting to pay off.
I’ve had lots of ideas following this presentation, from very small formats to very large ones, the desire to test varnishing my work, to test other types of framing.
Once again, testing is the key to progress.
